The local map shows a closeup of the map and all visible units.
Commands Associated with the Local Map
Click any square to select that square.
Double-Click a City to bring up the build dialog box.
To move, select units from the Stack List. Then either move back to the stack on the map and drag the units with the mouse or use the numeric keypad (or the keys around 'K') Movement can be up down, left right or diagonal, use the send command to send them to a location. If the unit can't move, either it doesn't have enough move points to move into the terrain or they've moved into a ZOC.
To move the whole stack, hold the option key down while moving the stack.
You can bring up the Transfer Commodities Dialog box if the stack is in a city and you [command]-Click on a unit in the Stack List.
